With games complete and the tournaments set for next week the DII Men's and Women's tournament.  Play in games will be held on Monday, March 4th while the tournament will take start on Thursday, March 7th and culminate with the championship game on Saturday, March 9th. The Men's tournament will be held at Wake Technical Community College while the women will play an hour north at Louisburg College.

The winner Men's Region 10 Tournament will be named the District XIV champion and receive an automatic bid to the national tournament in Danville, Illinois.  The tournament welcomes in Region 8 champion Florida Gateway College who will be placed at the #3 seed in the tournament.  Regular season champion Pitt Community College will have the #1 seed and already has clinched a spot at the National Tournament.  For the rest of the seeding and schedule of the Men's tournament visit the tournament webpage at  http://www.region10sports.com/sports/mbkb/2018-19/DIITourn.

The Women's champion will also earn a direct bid to the national tournament in Harrison, Arkansas with the District J title.  In a highly contested league this year it saw three teams tieing for the conference championship with Bryant & Stratton, Cape Fear and Catawba Valley all finishing with a 17-3 record in conference.  Due to all teams having the same loses and going 1-1 against each other a double blind draw was used to seed the top 3 teams.  Bryant & Stratton drew the #1 seed while Catawba Valley is #2 and Cape Fear is #3.  For the rest of the seeding and schedule of the Women's tournament visit the tournament webpage at  http://www.region10sports.com/sports/wbkb/2018-19/DIITourn.
