The Men's Basketball season starts out with three teams in region 10 being recognized in the preseason polls. With one representative in each of the polls DII member Lousiburg College headlines the group with a #3 preseason ranking. In DIII Sandhills Community College is in the top 10 at #8 in the polls while in DI Cape Fear Community College is #24.
