In one of the most competitive leagues in the nation, Region 10 posts three teams in the preseason NJCAA DII Women's Basketball poll.  Last years region champion Guilford Tech Community College comes in at the #8 spot after finishing the 2016/17 season 5th in the national tournament.  Guilford Tech is joined by Cape Fear Community College in the top 20 with the Sea Devils coming in at #19.  Cape Fear fell in overtime to Guilford Tech in last years Region 10 Championship game.  Louisburg College was also named one of three teams that were receiving votes in the intial poll.
