The #1 seed Sandhills Community College flyers continued their undefeated streak in region play by defeating the #2 seed Patrick Henry Community College Patriots 3-0 in the championship match.  Sandhills went 2-0 in the tournament without dropping a set on their way to the tittle.  With the win the Flyers will play Northampton Community College who won the Region 19/21 tournament this past weekend.  The District H title match between Sandhills and Northampton will be held on Northampton campus in Bethlehem, PA on Saturday, October 28 at 12:00pm.  The winner of this match will be named District H champion and earn a bid the the NJCAA DIII Volleyball National Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota.

At the conclusion of the tournament All-Region 10 awards were announced with Sandhills sweeping the major awards with Paige Garner (MH, Sandhills) being named Player of the Year and Alicia Riggan (Sandhills) being named Coach of the Year.  For complete listing of region awards click here: http://region10sports.com/sports/wvball/2017-18/diii-region-awards
