The Region 10 DII Volleyball championship was decided in the District P tournament semifinals when #1 Catawba Valley Community College faced #4 Lenoir Community College.  Catawba Valley was able to sweep Lenoir winning 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-23).  Catawba Valley advanced to the District P title game against Pasco-Hernando State College (FL) who defeated Walters State Community College (TN) in the other semifinal match.  Pasco-Hernando defeated Catawba Valley 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-23) to win the District P title and advance to the national tournament in Charleston, West Virginia. 

During the tournament the All-Region team was announced.  Anika Thomas from Surry Community College was named Region 10 player of the year and Emily Coleman of Cape Fear was named Region 10 Coach of the Year.  For the complete All-Region team click here.

Following the tournament, Region 10 was represented by Kelsey Worthington (Lenoir), Mallory Bailey (Catawba Valley) and Sabrina Pinard (Catawba Valley) on the District P All-Tournament Team.
