Cape Fear defeats Harford CC 3-1 to advance to the National Tournament in Melbourne, FL on November 14-19, 2016.

Davidson advances to District VII Championships on March 3-4 at Oxford, GA
Davidson defeats Montgomery in District VII Championship 92-79 to advance to the National Championship in Rochester, MN on March 16-18, 2017.
Davidson finishes in 7th place in the National Tournament.

Guilford Tech wins District J title advances to the National Championship at North Arkansas College in Harrison, Arkansas on March 21-25, 2017.

Guilford Tech finishes 7th at the National Tournament.

 

Region X DI & DII Men's Basketball Championship

DI Championship Game #1 Spartanburg Methodist defeats #3 Caldwell CC&TI  61-60
DII Championship Game #2 Richard Bland defeats #1 Louisburg 78-75 (OT)

In DI Men's Basketball Spartanburg Methodist wins District X title and will head to the National Championship in Hutchinson, KS on March 20-25, 2017.
Caldwell CC&TI was named a zone qualifier and will also advance to the National Tournament.
Spartanburg Methodist and Caldwell Tech Fall in the first round of the National Tournament.

In DII Men's Basketball both Richard Bland and Louisburg will head to the National Championship in Danville, Illinois on March 21-25, 2017.  Richard Bland won the DII championship and will be the District XV representative.  Loisburg claims the District XIV title as regular season champion and tournament runner-up. 

Louisburg finishes 2nd at the National Tournament.

Richard Bland finished 4th at the National Tournament.

Championship Game #1 Louisburg College defeats #2 USC Salkehatchie  2-1

Lousiburg will play for District Championship on May 5-6 in Spartanburg, SC.

Louisburg falls in the District Tournament.

Region X Champion: Surry Community College (612)

Surry CC failed to qualify for National Tournament.  Chris Dorsett (SCC) qualified as an individual for the National Tournament at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, AZ.

Region X Champion: Spartanburg Methodist

Spartanburg Methodist qualifies for the National Tournament.  Stephen Abrams (Cape Fear CC) and Frankie Lin (Richard Bland) qualify as indivuduals for the National Tournament at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kansas.

Championship Game #1 Pitt Community College defeats #2 Richard Bland 6-4

Pitt will advance to the 2017 NJCAA Division II Softball Championship at Traceway Park in Clinton, Mississippi on May 17-20, 2017.

Pitt goes 0-2 in National Tournament.

Championship Game: Florence-Darlington defeats Spartanburg Methodist 15-7

Florence-Darlington is the Region 10 Tournament champion and will host the NJCAA Eastern Districts to be held May 18-20. USC-Lancaster has qualified for Districts by virtue of winning the Regular season crown. The 2 Region X teams will be joined by the winners of Region 15 and Region 20 to battle for a berth in the NJCAA World Series to be held in Grand Junction, CO May 27-June 3

Championship Game: Surry defeats Danville 16-10

Surry Community College will advance to play the Region XX Champion for the District D title on May 19-20. The winner of the district tournament earns a berth to the NJCAA DIII World Series in Greenville, Tennessee.

Surry falls to Prince George in district championships.

Surry Community Collegereceives and at large bid to the NJCAA DIII World Series in Greenville, Tennessee.

Surry goes 0-2 in the DIII World Series.

Championship Game: Pitt defeats Guilford Tech 13-10

Pitt Community College is the Region X and Southeast District Champions, will advance to the the 2017 NJCAA DII World Series at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, Oklahoma on May 27 through June 3.

Pitt finishes 5th at the DII World Series going 1-2.

Championship Game: Florence-Darlington Tech defeats USC Lancaster 14-0

Florence-Darlington Tech is the Southeast District Champion and will advance to the NJCAA DI World Series at Grand Junction, Colorado on May 27 through June 3.

Florence-Darlington Tech goes 0-2 at the DI World Series.
